1 لَمْ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ

lam yakuni alladziina kafaruu min ahli alkitaabi waalmusyrikiina munfakkiina hattaa ta/tiyahumu albayyinatu

Orang-orang kafir yakni ahli Kitab dan orang-orang musyrik (mengatakan bahwa mereka) tidak akan meninggalkan (agamanya) sebelum datang kepada mereka bukti yang nyata,

Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief] until there came to them clear evidence -

2 رَسُولٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ يَتْلُوا۟ صُحُفًا مُّطَهَّرَةً

rasuulun mina allaahi yatluu shuhufan muthahharatan

(yaitu) seorang Rasul dari Allah (Muhammad) yang membacakan lembaran-lembaran yang disucikan (Al Quran),

A Messenger from Allah, reciting purified scriptures

3 فِيهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ

fiihaa kutubun qayyimatun

di dalamnya terdapat (isi) Kitab-kitab yang lurus.

Within which are correct writings.

4 وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ

wamaa tafarraqa alladziina uutuu alkitaaba illaa min ba'di maa jaa-at-humu albayyinatu

Dan tidaklah berpecah belah orang-orang yang didatangkan Al Kitab (kepada mereka) melainkan sesudah datang kepada mereka bukti yang nyata.

Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence.

5 وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓا۟ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ ٱلْقَيِّمَةِ

wamaa umiruu illaa liya'buduu allaaha mukhlishiina lahu alddiina hunafaa-a wayuqiimuu alshshalaata wayu/tuu alzzakaata wadzaalika diinu alqayyimati

Padahal mereka tidak disuruh kecuali supaya menyembah Allah dengan memurnikan ketaatan kepada-Nya dalam (menjalankan) agama yang lurus, dan supaya mereka mendirikan shalat dan menunaikan zakat; dan yang demikian itulah agama yang lurus.

And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion.

6 إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ

inna alladziina kafaruu min ahli alkitaabi waalmusyrikiina fii naari jahannama khaalidiina fiihaa ulaa-ika hum syarru albariyyati

Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang kafir yakni ahli Kitab dan orang-orang yang musyrik (akan masuk) ke neraka Jahannam; mereka kekal di dalamnya. Mereka itu adalah seburuk-buruk makhluk.

Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures.

7 إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ

inna alladziina aamanuu wa'amiluu alshshaalihaati ulaa-ika hum khayru albariyyati

Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang beriman dan mengerjakan amal saleh, mereka itu adalah sebaik-baik makhluk.

Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures.

8 جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّٰتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا ۖ رَّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِىَ رَبَّهُۥ

jazaauhum 'inda rabbihim jannaatu 'adnin tajrii min tahtihaa al-anhaaru khaalidiina fiihaa abadan radhiya allaahu 'anhum waradhuu 'anhu dzaalika liman khasyiya rabbahu

Balasan mereka di sisi Tuhan mereka ialah surga 'Adn yang mengalir di bawahnya sungai-sungai; mereka kekal di dalamnya selama-lamanya. Allah ridha terhadap mereka dan merekapun ridha kepada-Nya. Yang demikian itu adalah (balasan) bagi orang yang takut kepada Tuhannya.

Their reward with Allah will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord.
