Adh Dhuhaa
1 وَٱلضُّحَىٰ
waaldhdhuhaa
Demi waktu matahari sepenggalahan naik,
By the morning brightness
2 وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ
waallayli idzaa sajaa
dan demi malam apabila telah sunyi (gelap),
And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,
3 مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ
maa wadda'aka rabbuka wamaa qalaa
Tuhanmu tiada meninggalkan kamu dan tiada (pula) benci kepadamu.
Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you].
4 وَلَلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ
walal-aakhiratu khayrun laka mina al-uulaa
Dan sesungguhnya hari kemudian itu lebih baik bagimu daripada yang sekarang (permulaan).
And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].
5 وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ
walasawfa yu'thiika rabbuka fatardaa
Dan kelak Tuhanmu pasti memberikan karunia-Nya kepadamu, lalu (hati) kamu menjadi puas.
And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.
6 أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَـَٔاوَىٰ
alam yajidka yatiiman faaawaa
Bukankah Dia mendapatimu sebagai seorang yatim, lalu Dia melindungimu?
Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?
7 وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّا فَهَدَىٰ
wawajadaka daallan fahadaa
Dan Dia mendapatimu sebagai seorang yang bingung, lalu Dia memberikan petunjuk.
And He found you lost and guided [you],
8 وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰ
wawajadaka 'aa-ilan fa-aghnaa
Dan Dia mendapatimu sebagai seorang yang kekurangan, lalu Dia memberikan kecukupan.
And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.
9 فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ
fa-ammaa alyatiima falaa taqhar
Sebab itu, terhadap anak yatim janganlah kamu berlaku sewenang-wenang.
So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].
10 وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ
wa-ammaa alssaa-ila falaa tanhar
Dan terhadap orang yang minta-minta, janganlah kamu menghardiknya.
And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him].
11 وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ
wa-ammaa bini'mati rabbika fahaddits
Dan terhadap nikmat Tuhanmu, maka hendaklah kamu siarkan.
But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].
