Al Ghaasyiah
1 هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْغَٰشِيَةِ
hal ataaka hadiitsu alghaasyiyati
Sudah datangkah kepadamu berita (tentang) hari pembalasan?
Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]?
2 وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَٰشِعَةٌ
wujuuhun yawma-idzin khaasyi'atun
Banyak muka pada hari itu tunduk terhina,
[Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled,
3 عَامِلَةٌ نَّاصِبَةٌ
'aamilatun naasibatun
bekerja keras lagi kepayahan,
Working [hard] and exhausted.
4 تَصْلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةً
tashlaa naaran haamiyatan
memasuki api yang sangat panas (neraka),
They will [enter to] burn in an intensely hot Fire.
5 تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ ءَانِيَةٍ
tusqaa min 'aynin aaniyatin
diberi minum (dengan air) dari sumber yang sangat panas.
They will be given drink from a boiling spring.
6 لَّيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٍ
laysa lahum tha'aamun illaa min dharii'in
Mereka tiada memperoleh makanan selain dari pohon yang berduri,
For them there will be no food except from a poisonous, thorny plant
7 لَّا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِن جُوعٍ
laa yusminu walaa yughnii min juu'in
yang tidak menggemukkan dan tidak pula menghilangkan lapar.
Which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger.
8 وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاعِمَةٌ
wujuuhun yawma-idzin naa'imatun
Banyak muka pada hari itu berseri-seri,
[Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure.
9 لِّسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌ
lisa'yihaa raadiyatun
merasa senang karena usahanya,
With their effort [they are] satisfied
10 فِى جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ
fii jannatin 'aaliyatin
dalam surga yang tinggi,
In an elevated garden,
11 لَّا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَٰغِيَةً
laa tasma'u fiihaa laaghiyatan
tidak kamu dengar di dalamnya perkataan yang tidak berguna.
Wherein they will hear no unsuitable speech.
12 فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ
fiihaa 'aynun jaariyatun
Di dalamnya ada mata air yang mengalir.
Within it is a flowing spring.
13 فِيهَا سُرُرٌ مَّرْفُوعَةٌ
fiihaa sururun marfuu'atun
Di dalamnya ada takhta-takhta yang ditinggikan,
Within it are couches raised high
14 وَأَكْوَابٌ مَّوْضُوعَةٌ
wa-akwaabun mawdhuu'atun
dan gelas-gelas yang terletak (di dekatnya),
And cups put in place
15 وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌ
wanamaariqu mashfuufatun
dan bantal-bantal sandaran yang tersusun,
And cushions lined up
16 وَزَرَابِىُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ
wazaraabiyyu mabtsuutsatun
dan permadani-permadani yang terhampar.
And carpets spread around.
17 أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ
afalaa yanzhuruuna ilaa al-ibili kayfa khuliqath
Maka apakah mereka tidak memperhatikan unta bagaimana dia diciptakan,
Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created?
18 وَإِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ
wa-ilaa alssamaa-i kayfa rufi'ath
Dan langit, bagaimana ia ditinggikan?
And at the sky - how it is raised?
19 وَإِلَى ٱلْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ
wa-ilaa aljibaali kayfa nushibath
Dan gunung-gunung bagaimana ia ditegakkan?
And at the mountains - how they are erected?
20 وَإِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ
wa-ilaa al-ardhi kayfa suthihath
Dan bumi bagaimana ia dihamparkan?
And at the earth - how it is spread out?
21 فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٌ
fadzakkir innamaa anta mudzakkirun
Maka berilah peringatan, karena sesungguhnya kamu hanyalah orang yang memberi peringatan.
So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder.
22 لَّسْتَ عَلَيْهِم بِمُصَيْطِرٍ
lasta 'alayhim bimushaythirin
Kamu bukanlah orang yang berkuasa atas mereka,
You are not over them a controller.
23 إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ
illaa man tawallaa wakafara
tetapi orang yang berpaling dan kafir,
However, he who turns away and disbelieves -
24 فَيُعَذِّبُهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَكْبَرَ
fayu'adzdzibuhu allaahu al'adzaaba al-akbara
maka Allah akan mengazabnya dengan azab yang besar.
Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment.
25 إِنَّ إِلَيْنَآ إِيَابَهُمْ
inna ilaynaa iyaabahum
Sesungguhnya kepada Kami-lah kembali mereka,
Indeed, to Us is their return.
26 ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُم
tsumma inna 'alaynaa hisaabahum
kemudian sesungguhnya kewajiban Kami-lah menghisab mereka.
Then indeed, upon Us is their account.
