1 وَٱلْمُرْسَلَٰتِ عُرْفًا

waalmursalaati 'urfaan

Demi malaikat-malaikat yang diutus untuk membawa kebaikan,

By those [winds] sent forth in gusts

2 فَٱلْعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصْفًا

faal'aasifaati 'ashfaan

dan (malaikat-malaikat) yang terbang dengan kencangnya,

And the winds that blow violently

3 وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًا

waalnnaasyiraati nasyraan

dan (malaikat-malaikat) yang menyebarkan (rahmat Tuhannya) dengan seluas-luasnya,

And [by] the winds that spread [clouds]

4 فَٱلْفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرْقًا

faalfaariqaati farqaan

dan (malaikat-malaikat) yang membedakan (antara yang hak dan yang bathil) dengan sejelas-jelasnya,

And those [angels] who bring criterion

5 فَٱلْمُلْقِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا

faalmulqiyaati dzikraan

dan (malaikat-malaikat) yang menyampaikan wahyu,

And those [angels] who deliver a message

7 إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌ

innamaa tuu'aduuna lawaaqi'un

sesungguhnya apa yang dijanjikan kepadamu itu pasti terjadi.

Indeed, what you are promised is to occur.

8 فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ

fa-idzaa alnnujuumu thumisath

Maka apabila bintang-bintang telah dihapuskan,

So when the stars are obliterated

10 وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ

wa-idzaa aljibaalu nusifath

dan apabila gunung-gunung telah dihancurkan menjadi debu,

And when the mountains are blown away

11 وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ

wa-idzaa alrrusulu uqqitat

dan apabila rasul-rasul telah ditetapkan waktu (mereka).

And when the messengers' time has come...

12 لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ

li-ayyi yawmin ujjilat

(Niscaya dikatakan kepada mereka:) "Sampai hari apakah ditangguhkan (mengazab orang-orang kafir itu)?"

For what Day was it postponed?

14 وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ

wamaa adraaka maa yawmu alfashli

Dan tahukah kamu apakah hari keputusan itu?

And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement?

15 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

waylun yawma-idzin lilmukadzdzibiina

Kecelakaan yang besarlah pada hari itu bagi orang-orang yang mendustakan.

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

16 أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

alam nuhliki al-awwaliina

Bukankah Kami telah membinasakan orang-orang yang dahulu?

Did We not destroy the former peoples?

17 ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ

tsumma nutbi'uhumu al-aakhiriina

Lalu Kami iringkan (azab Kami terhadap) mereka dengan (mengazab) orang-orang yang datang kemudian.

Then We will follow them with the later ones.

18 كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

kadzaalika naf'alu bialmujrimiina

Demikianlah Kami berbuat terhadap orang-orang yang berdosa.

Thus do We deal with the criminals.

19 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

waylun yawma-idzin lilmukadzdzibiina

Kecelakaan yang besarlah pada hari itu bagi orang-orang yang mendustakan.

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

20 أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ

alam nakhluqkum min maa-in mahiinin

Bukankah Kami menciptakan kamu dari air yang hina?

Did We not create you from a liquid disdained?

21 فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ

faja'alnaahu fii qaraarin makiinin

kemudian Kami letakkan dia dalam tempat yang kokoh (rahim),

And We placed it in a firm lodging

23 فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَٰدِرُونَ

faqadarnaa fani'ma alqaadiruuna

lalu Kami tentukan (bentuknya), maka Kami-lah sebaik-baik yang menentukan.

And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine.

24 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

waylun yawma-idzin lilmukadzdzibiina

Kecelakaan yang besarlah pada hari itu bagi orang-orang yang mendustakan.

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

25 أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا

alam naj'ali al-ardha kifaataan

Bukankah Kami menjadikan bumi (tempat) berkumpul,

Have We not made the earth a container

27 وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَٰمِخَٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا

waja'alnaa fiihaa rawaasiya syaamikhaatin wa-asqaynaakum maa-an furaataan

dan Kami jadikan padanya gunung-gunung yang tinggi, dan Kami beri minum kamu dengan air tawar?

And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water.

28 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

waylun yawma-idzin lilmukadzdzibiina

Kecelakaan yang besarlah pada hari itu bagi orang-orang yang mendustakan.

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

29 ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

inthaliquu ilaa maa kuntum bihi tukadzdzibuuna

(Dikatakan kepada mereka pada hari kiamat): "Pergilah kamu mendapatkan azab yang dahulunya kamu mendustakannya.

[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny.

30 ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٍ

inthaliquu ilaa zhillin dzii tsalaatsi syu'abin

Pergilah kamu mendapatkan naungan yang mempunyai tiga cabang,

Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns

31 لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ

aa zhaliilin walaa yughnii mina allahabi

yang tidak melindungi dan tidak pula menolak nyala api neraka".

[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame."

32 إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍ كَٱلْقَصْرِ

innahaa tarmii bisyararin kaalqashri

Sesungguhnya neraka itu melontarkan bunga api sebesar dan setinggi istana.

Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress,

33 كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتٌ صُفْرٌ

ka-annahu jimaalatun shufrun

Seolah-olah ia iringan unta yang kuning.

As if they were yellowish [black] camels.

34 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

waylun yawma-idzin lilmukadzdzibiina

Kecelakaan yang besarlah pada hari itu bagi orang-orang yang mendustakan.

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

35 هَٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ

haadzaa yawmu laa yanthiquuna

Ini adalah hari, yang mereka tidak dapat berbicara (pada hari itu),

This is a Day they will not speak,

36 وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ

walaa yu/dzanu lahum faya'tadziruuna

dan tidak diizinkan kepada mereka minta uzur sehingga mereka (dapat) minta uzur.

Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse.

37 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

waylun yawma-idzin lilmukadzdzibiina

Kecelakaan yang besarlah pada hari itu bagi orang-orang yang mendustakan.

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

38 هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

haadzaa yawmu alfashli jama'naakum waal-awwaliina

Ini adalah hari keputusan; (pada hari ini) Kami mengumpulkan kamu dan orang-orang terdahulu.

This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples.

39 فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ

fa-in kaana lakum kaydun fakiiduuni

Jika kamu mempunyai tipu daya, maka lakukanlah tipu dayamu itu terhadap-Ku.

So if you have a plan, then plan against Me.

40 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

waylun yawma-idzin lilmukadzdzibiina

Kecelakaan yang besarlah pada hari itu bagi orang-orang yang mendustakan.

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

41 إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَٰلٍ وَعُيُونٍ

inna almuttaqiina fii zhilaalin wa'uyuunin

Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang bertakwa berada dalam naungan (yang teduh) dan (di sekitar) mata-mata air.

Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs

42 وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ

wafawaakiha mimmaa yasytahuuna

Dan (mendapat) buah-buahan dari (macam-macam) yang mereka ingini.

And fruits from whatever they desire,

43 كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

kuluu waisyrabuu hanii-an bimaa kuntum ta'maluuna

(Dikatakan kepada mereka): "Makan dan minumlah kamu dengan enak karena apa yang telah kamu kerjakan".

[Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."

44 إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

innaa kadzaalika najzii almuhsiniina

Sesungguhnya demikianlah Kami memberi balasan kepada orang-orang yang berbuat baik.

Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.

45 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

waylun yawma-idzin lilmukadzdzibiina

Kecelakaan yang besarlah pada hari itu bagi orang-orang yang mendustakan.

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

46 كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ

kuluu watamatta'uu qaliilan innakum mujrimuuna

(Dikatakan kepada orang-orang kafir): "Makanlah dan bersenang-senanglah kamu (di dunia dalam waktu) yang pendek; sesungguhnya kamu adalah orang-orang yang berdosa".

[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals.

47 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

waylun yawma-idzin lilmukadzdzibiina

Kecelakaan yang besarlah pada hari itu bagi orang-orang yang mendustakan.

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

48 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ

wa-idzaa qiila lahumu irka'uu laa yarka'uuna

Dan apabila dikatakan kepada mereka: "Rukuklah, niscaya mereka tidak mau ruku'.

And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow.

49 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

waylun yawma-idzin lilmukadzdzibiina

Kecelakaan yang besarlah pada hari itu bagi orang-orang yang mendustakan.

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

50 فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ

fabi-ayyi hadiitsin ba'dahu yu/minuuna

Maka kepada perkataan apakah selain Al Quran ini mereka akan beriman?

Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believe?
